Shared use on Arlington Memorial Bridge.

Crossing the Arlington Memorial Bridge using bikeshare in Washington DC.

Shortcut between Clifton Road and Rustat Road.

The abandoned Raleigh bike that was an integral part of this Banksy seems to have been stolen...

Absolutely brand new Co-op shop, and they've put the cycle stands as far away as possible from the entrance - so no-one will use them, and Co-op management won't bother next time.

Short stretch of cycleway - just long enough to bump over a dropped kerb at a tangent, a cycle symbol, an arrow, some incorrect tactile paving, a give way marking and another angled dropped kerb..

poorly design merge onto a half width cycle lane Cyclists have to look over their shoulder while negotiating ladder paving then jink tightly right then left.

Dangerously narrow half width cycle lane - scary when the trams come past. A stretch of the national cycle network that Sustrans decided to retain!

Large hatched extension to the central island has made a huge improvement here. Traffic speed are now much lower. This could be further improved by installing a proper cobbled runoff zone on the hatched area to discourage drivers from cutti ... [more]

A new secure cycle hub (with fob access) has opened at Market Harborough station.

I'm slightly surprised that the lifts at Amsterdam Centraal station aren't a bit bigger. One bike at a time, as a rule.

Cycle parking

Broken racks - nice idea in principle to provide wheel supports against these stands, like on the left. In practice though they have turned out to be fragile.

Tidy cycle parking on Sidney Street.

Excellent residential cycle parking.(Sheffield stands should be buried rather than top-mounted, hence why they are so tall, but this is a good step in the right direction.)

New cycle stands at the King Hedges Road Post Office - replacing some awful old galvanized wheel grippers. Great improvement, pleasure to use.

Thoday Street racks. City rangers have helpfully cleared away an abandoned bike that was looking a mess. I've now asked them to remove the two old locks that are attached to the rack.

Messy bike parking - the white bike looks like it has been used once and has been abandoned on these racks for about three weeks. For more info see: https://www.camcycle.org.uk/newsletters/145/nl145.pdf Page 22

Locks tagged by the council for removal. A week later they were gone.
